A special evening dedicated to Peace was enjoyed by 65 guests on 2nd Dec in the Jacobean Hall at the beautiful Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst. Ancient heraldic banners flew with Tibetan prayer flags lit by soft candle-light to the music of Peace Minstrels, Bryony Lewis and Joe Boon.

Tess Burrows told the tale of the Kilimanjaro Peace Climb  completing the six-pointed star of Peace across the Earth. Then EyeBooks Editor Martha Ellen Zenfell launched Tess’ latest book “Touch The Sky” by symbolically lighting a single flame sending it out into the world in light. The guests spoke out many of the Nation Messages gathered for Kilimanjaro, wrote their own Messages encouraged by “Paws For Peace” Ambassador, Barney and finished with a silent Peace Focus.

Together, everyone contributed to the much-needed sponsoring of two Tibetan Children and the education of young Maasai girls.
