Welcoming the light

On this year’s shortest day a small team walked up the hill in Hammer Vale to welcome the return of the light and the coming of Christmas. Tyres were being pulled, symbolic of the effort given for Peace

The children, Elsie, Bessie and Bodhi, carried the light in little lanterns with a beautiful red sunset backdrop and led the team to the wishing tree to carry out their Christmas wishes. Followed by tyre rides!
